The short version: we do not want your data. The game has no ads, no analytics and no accounts of our own. The Google Play edition can optionally connect to Google Play Games for achievements, leaderboards and cloud saves; that is the only online feature it has.

The game

Zoomies! does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information to us. There are no Tom Games accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no telemetry of any kind. We run no game servers.

Google Play Games (Play Store edition)

The edition distributed on Google Play integrates Google Play Games Services, a Google service, for optional achievements, leaderboards and cloud-saved progress. When you sign in with your Google Play Games profile:

Google processes your Play Games player ID and gamer profile so that achievements and leaderboard scores can be recorded against it.
Your scores and unlocked achievements are visible to you, and on leaderboards to other players, under your Play Games gamer name.
A small save file (high score, fish, unlocked cats) is stored in your Google account’s game-data storage so your progress can follow you to a new phone.

This data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy; we never receive it on any server of ours (we have none). Signing in is optional: if you skip it, the game plays fully offline and nothing is sent anywhere. You can manage or delete your Play Games profile data in your Google account settings or via the Play Games app.

The direct-download edition

The APK offered on this website does not include Play Games and does not request internet access at all. The only Android permission it uses is vibration, for the little bump when your cat runs into a cat carrier. Because that build has no network permission, the operating system itself prevents it from sending anything anywhere.

Your save data

Your progress — high score, fish, unlocked cats and the sound settings — is stored in a small file on your own device (and, only if you sign in to Play Games on the Play edition, in your Google account’s cloud-save storage). It is never sent to us. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android’s settings, deletes the on-device copy permanently.

Children

Zoomies! is suitable for everyone. The game itself collects no data from any player, so it collects no data from children either. Play Games sign-in is handled by Google and follows the Google account’s own settings.

This website

zoomies.tomgames.dev is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no accounts; even its fonts are served from this site rather than a third party. Like nearly every website, our server briefly keeps standard technical logs (IP address and requested page) for security and abuse prevention; we do not use them to identify anyone.

Changes

If any of this ever changes, the new policy will be posted here with an updated date.
